i don't take myself too seriously. the internet is big and wide and i'd be a fool to think i can't learn *at least* five or six things from anyone i work or interact with.
i learned html & css in high school, but everyone neglected to tell me it was something i could do for a job! i ended up getting back to it in late 2019. i spend most of my time with next.js and sanity cms lately, but i'm comfortable with all of the things listed in the next sections
i'm big on doing whatever i can to make things easier for myself and the people i work with. the less we have to think about the day to day, the more time we have to discuss doing bigger, better, more accessible & cooler things.
dream job: building the goofy off-brand websites you see in movies and TV
personal
i am, first and foremost, a dog enthusiast. i would do anything for my dogs, and honestly, i'd probably do anything for yours, too.
i grew up in southwest michigan, went to culinary school in pittsburgh, pa and then moved to portland, or. where i spent (what feels like) 1,000 years as a chef. i chose to step away from kitchens to attend and complete a coding bootcamp.
i eventually found my way back to pittsburgh where i spend my free time hanging out with dogs, playing turn based RPGs, doing crafts, making themed playlists and learning about design.
dream job: dog ranch owner & operator
